Q: How do you find music for your programs?
It may be easier to answer where I do NOT find music for programs which would be while sleeping (although that does occur sometimes). Music is all around. However, some of our regular go-to resources include: Shazam (while I’m out and about), The Hype Machine, Twitter, Band Of The Day, new release lists, and Drowned in Sound to name a few.

Q: How do you find music for your programs?
I get a lot from blogs (esp Aquarium Drunkard, Stereogum, Pitchfork) but i have made a lot of label friends over the years. I am a DJ first and foremost and have been collecting records my whole life so i am an obsessive, constantly trading music with DJs and music heads and i’m way into Shazam.
